In past positions CarolAnn has run marketing departments large and small, with budgets ranging from $50,000 to $50 million. Most recently she was Vice President of Marketing for Forrester Research, and before that was Vice President of Marketing for Cahners In-Stat Group. She relocated to the Boston area from Minneapolis, where she held senior level marketing positions with
Star Tribune newspaper, US Bancorp, and General Mills. She is the winner of an Ad Age Effie Award for the launch of startribune.com. Earlier in her career she was a writer and editor for several Meredith Corporation magazines, including Better Homes and Gardens. She has a B.A. in Journalism and an M.A. in Mass Communications from Drake University, and an M.B.A. from Stanford.
CarolAnn is a member of the Board of Directors of Hale Reservation, an 1,100-acre nature preserve, and The Boston Club, an organization for women leaders. She is a past Board member of the Better Business Bureau. In 2001 she was named by the Boston Globe as one of the area's top six up-and-comers in high-tech marketing. |
